NIKEiD Designs an "MVP" LeBron 11

The first one is always special.

For the last few days, we have been sharing a look at NIKEiD’s LeBron-inspired LeBron XI creations. With each pair set to pay tribute to a defining moment from each of the ten years King James has been in the league, we have yet another version to share with all of you sneakerheads out there. This time around, NIKEiD would like to take you back to 2009. In case you can’t recall why this year is pertinent to LeBrons career, we will be glad to refresh your memories. 2009 was the year James received his very first NBA Most Valuable Player award. As usual, the colorway of this latest pair of “MVP” LeBron XI’s reflects his time as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Equipped with a white base, the infusion of red and blue accents brings the Cavs-inspired color palette to life. Seeing as how James is a four time MVP award recipient, it is the first one that takes center stage today. While the likelihood of seeing another MVP-inspired pair of kicks is higly probable, those upcoming iterations will surely be decked out in some Heat colors. Now that ’09 is done, it is time for us to set our sights on the 2010 pair. In picking up the NIKEiD LeBron XI guessing game, I am going to guess that this upcoming offering will have something to do with the infamous “Decision”. Guess we will just have to wait an see what Nike has up there sleeves moving forward.
