Dropping this Saturday, courtesy of exclusive Nike Sportswear retailer Bodega, will be a pair of WMNS Nike Air Max 1’s, that would surely make King Midas and Trinidad James extremely happy. If you remember the periodic table, then you will be able to easily identify which element was used as the muse for this upcoming release. For those of you who hated the periodic table like I did during Science class, then we will gladly give you a quick lesson. In checking out the photos, you will notice the Au chemical symbol is prominently placed about both tongue tabs. Seeing as how Au is the chemical symbol for gold, this “Liquid Gold” colorway definitely makes a hell of a whole lot of sense now. Upon switching the usual Nike Air logo to a straight “Nike” affair about the heel tab, all of you female sneakerheads will be able to cop these joints from Bodega online this Saturday at 12:01 am EST and in store at 11 am for $140. Out of all the colorways this classic 1987 designed silhouette has donned, we have a feeling that this may be one of the years most coveted releases. Let the gold rush begin.
