Seeing a need for women who desire to train intensely, with a premium on light weight, support, and cushioning, Nike has created room for a new shoe model that brings the spotlight on the development of overall dynamic conditioning in the Nike LunarElement.

Made for women to train in amongst and away from the forthcoming harsher elements of winter, the LunarElement caters to the feet to placed in their best possible condition for training to be a success, with all elements of the shoe making strength a theme.

The LunarElement incorporates a number of fairly-familiar technologies to generate a higher standard of excellence. The DiamondFLX/Free-like midsole/outsole allows for lightweight grip and helps to enhance natural motion and foot flex. Accompanied by that are rubber outsole lug plugs with nubs at the heel and forefoot to maintain traction integrity.

Cushioning benefits are squarely attributable to the Lunarlon midsole platform to absorb shock and cushioning foot strikes during running, jumping, and other forms of dynamic motion. The LunarElement also makes use of a subtler form of its Hyperfuse application, using a solid Fuse textile upper with a ripstop mesh as a shell – the bonded monomesh is a weapon against rain, snow, and other substances that might otherwise soak through. To seal the LunarElement, Nike employs the use of the Outlast textile technology in the ankle collar to maintain a comfortable temperature for feet, regardless of high  temperatures or low temperatures.
