This coming Halloween, Nike is planning on sweetening the trick or treat pot with the release of the “OKC Away” Nike KD 6. With quite an impressive list of colorways having already made their way to retail, you had to know that it would only be a matter of time before you saw some sort of OKC-inspired iteration release. Aside from the obvious Thunder-esc appearance, these kicks come fully equipped with team orange laces and a metallic silver swoosh to enhance the shoes visual appeal. Simplistic in nature, we can most assuredly picture KD rocking these on the road while he drops buckets on the opposing teams defense. Despite not following the typical black/orange protocol of Halloween, these kicks would still be a good look for any sneakerhead looking to kick their costumes up a notch. Much like many of the previous releases from the Durant signature line, the retail world will see the arrival of a team specific colorway after a barrage of vibrant, high energy releases have already dropped. Don’t get it twisted, we are certain that the KD 6 has definitely got a lot more in store for the sneaker world. But for now, Nike is slowing it down just a little to satisfy all the raving Thunder fans out there.
