Having already broken the news that the Nike Air Raid will indeed be making a return to the sneaker world in 2014, it looks like the creative minds over at Nike Sportswear have got something special planned for the iconic basketball silhouette. In borrowing the infamous afrocentric pattern from the Nike Air Raid II, NSW has gone ahead and applied it to the Air Raid 1 build to create this pair of "Peace" Nike Air Raids. Featuring a black and charcoal grey upper, the multicolored pattern flows quite nicely about the shoes midsole. Accompanying the vibrant graphic are a few other design details about the heel tab and tongue. Throw in a peace sign on the shoes signature cross straps and the “Live Together, Play Together” theme is fully brought to life. If you are feeling these joints so far, then you will be happy to know that you can expect to see them hit the sneaker retail scene early in 2014. While we don’t have a definite date to pass on, we can only assume that these will be released amongst the litany of other Air Raid colorways set to release in the new year. How do all of you sneakerheads feel about this colorway? Are you feeling how Nike has subtly combined the Air Raid I and II? Or would you prefer to have the Air Raid II instead?  In any event, "Peace" shall be with you all in the near future.
