Derrick Rose is back on the basketball court, and his latest signature shoe from adidas has also arrived—both pieces of good news for those who truly appreciate the game of basketball.

Coming off a serious knee injury, adidas went to lengths to ensure D-Rose has all the proper support and stability he needs to hoop up the competition this season. Building on the success of the previous models, the D Rose 4 features some similarities to its predecessors, as well as some much-needed updates to keep Derrick happy and healthy on the hardwood.

The D Rose 4 features an exclusive, tailored design inspired by Derrick’s distinct on and off court personalities. The shoe comes loaded with a Sprintframe chassis for flexible support and stability, making is the prefect compliment to D-Rose’s explosive style of play. Up top, it has a seamlessly bonded Sprintweb upper that isn’t quite as perforated as the previous version, but still has the same breathability and comfort.

A compression-molded EVA midsole offers lightweight cushioning, and even has a miCoach cavity for ballers looking to keep tabs on their performance. The shoe features a Crazyquick-type non-marking zonal rubber outsole designed for quick cuts and enhanced lateral movement. Additional technical features include a padded ankle, lace-up closer, and a Geofit construction for anatomical fit and comfort.
