In accordance with Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose returning to the basketball court for NBA action this fall, adidas has debuted a new commercial for the upcoming release of the young point guard's latest shoe, the adidas D Rose 4.

Within are scenes that depict Rose interacting with some of the biggest stars in rap/hip hop music (specifically Big Sean, Common, 2 Chainz, and Dom Kennedy), while other scenes cut to the 24-year-old with family, greeting guests at parties, and shooting baskets alone.

The theme of the commercial, which will air on national television starting tonight, is about how Rose the player is a man that has accumulated various trappings that have come with his being bright in the limelight; however, "Basketball Is Everything" is narrated by Rose saying that he could have all of the extraneous fanfare and fame separated from him and the world (namely Chicago) would still have the same exact player. In the end, it all comes back to Rose training and preparing himself in his shoe of choice, the D Rose 4.

Though currently in the pre-sale stage until its debut date of October 10, the D Rose 4 is generating constant conversation and discussion via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with handles and hashtags such @adidasHoops and #DRose4.
