10 Golf Shoes Sneakerheads Need to Know About

One look at the PUMA AMP Cell Fusion SL Men's Golf Shoe, and its clear that Rickie Fowler is all over this one. If you have watched him on the course, you have seen him in his brightly colored pants and shirts, with bright golf shoes to match. We can't say we'd rock some of the colors he wears, but we respect him for doing it.

Yes we know this isn't the latest version of Tiger's golf shoe, but it does still stand as one of the most athletic on the list. Designed by Tobie Hatfield, the Nike TW'13 was inspired by the NIke Free, the shoe which TIger uses when he trains. The only issue we really have with the TW'13 was that it didn't come in more colors.

For those that like colder weather, ECCO seems to have you covered with the BIOM Golf Hybrid. The upper is made of yak leather and is treated with Hydromax to keep you dry while you play. ECCO also uses non-traditional spikes which allows you to easily transition from the course to the streets.

We know. You skate and refuse to rock anything but a Vans Slip-On. This includes when you go to the Par 3 in your neighborhood which doesn't exactly work out well when you end up in the sand trap. Well here is the DAWGS Canvas Golf Walking Shoe that keeps the essence of the Van Slip-On alive and mixes it with a golf shoe outsole.

Nike's latest offering in the golf shoe department comes with a lot of the current technology seen on some of the best basketball and running shoes. A ripstop mesh on the upper, a Nike-Free inspired Phylon midsole, and Dynamic Fit technology that uses Flywire bundles can easily be mistaken for a casual shoe. You don't even need to buy new spikes to rock these.

We don't really need to explain to you why you should be checking out the PUMA Clyde. The history of the Clyde alone should be enough for you to have it in your closet. Yes, we know your slice is terrible, but that doesn't mean you can't look stylish while you break the windows of the houses next to the course. Shankin' and stankin'!

If you have more old-school sensibilities when it comes to your sneakers, the adidas Golf Samba is perfectly suited to your needs. The upper stays true to an actual Samaba and the midsole remains true as well. You even get the gold foil Samba branding above the Three Stripes, which should easily help you keep your sneakerhead cred out on the links.

Nike has done a great job with making their golf shoes more accessible to the general public (remember what they did for Eric Koston). The Lunar Swingtip easily bridges that gap with a Lunar insole and a stylish upper that stays true to the "heritage" of golf, but still has a less formal cut.

One of the newer shoes on our list, the adiZero Tour Golf was released earlier this year to much fan fare. Players like Sergio Garcia have been rocking it on the course and at only 10.6 ounces, it is light enough to live another life off the course as a casual shoe (although it has the golf-iest look of any shoe on this list). If you happen to watch the Presidents Cup, you will catch Jason Day rocking the shoe as he helps out the International team.

Easily the most versatile shoe in the golf world, Nike improved upon the Nike TW'13 by adding Flywire, correcting the issue with the tongue, and adding the shoe to NIKEiD so you can get any color you want.
