Nike hits the rugged landscape of their own backyard, Eastern Oregon, to inspire the designs of their upcoming Fall 2013 trail collection. Nike has recreated the trail footwear for that urban runner who looks to run a different route from the norm – a step away from pounding the pavement. The Fall 2013 collection features three new shoes that gives the runner traction, natural motion and lightweight performance to take them anywhere their feet may lead: The Nike Free Hyperfeel Run Trail, Nike Zoom Terra Kiger, and The Nike Zoom Terra Wildhorse.

The Nike Free Hyperfeel Run Trail delivers a blend of natural motion flexibility with a plush and responsive Lunarlon cushioning for unique ground awareness. The trail shoe wraps the foot allowing the runner to move and bend freely, adapting to any terrain. A Nike Flyknit compression ankle collar gives the runner a custom fit and allows the shows to move with them with no hesitation. It also prevents rocks and other debris from entering the shoe.

The Terra Kiger is named after the Kiger Mustang horse. This horse is known for its stamina, agility and sure-footedness. The design was made to fit like a track spike, yet perform with all that you need out of a trail shoe. The outsole of the shoe is designed for great traction and durability on multiple surfaces. The engineered mesh on the upper gives the shoe a lightweight single layer that provides durability and breathability.

The Zoom Terra Wildhorse was designed with lightweight comfort and stability in mind – allowing the runner to destroy any terrain. This shoe uses Dynamic Fit technology to give the runner impact protection and the ability to adapt to any surface. The shoes upper also has reflective elements to stand out in low-light condition.

No word on a release date and pricing as of yet but you can be sure that Sneaker Report will have that for you as soon as it surfaces.
