Nike Air Base II "Challenge Red/Laser Orange"

A bright O.G.

The Nike Air Base II is enjoying its most recent run as a retro, and Nike has plans to continue dropping great color schemes of the runner that first released in 1990. This time, Nike has bright plans for the Air Base II, and the newest make-up to leak is straight flames, literally.

Nike has placed Challenge Red and Laser Orange on the upper of the Air Base II, and balanced it all out with a white midsole. It's a combination that always works, and we're not complaining. Although the O.G.s didn't feature a ripstop material on the toe-box, it's a nice touch to get a little more life out of these kicks, and even make them shield against the elements better, too.

As for now, there's no solid release information, so, with this bright colorway, maybe they'll drop next spring. We can only wait and see.
