It's looking like a long night is in store for Vanderbilt as they currently trail South Carolina 28-7 in the second quarter. The Commodores just haven't been able to put it together thus far, with their QB Austyn Carta-Samuels putting up just 18 yards on 2/7 attempts. Meanwhile, Connor Shaw has been getting it done for the Gamecocks. Shaw has 197 passing yards on 13/17 attempts, has connected for two touchdowns, and leads South Carolina in rushing with 28 yards on 6 carries. If Vanderbilt is hoping to mount a comeback, they'll have to find a way to shut down Shaw.
