The Chicago White Sox cannot catch a break. They face the Baltimore Orioles after being swept by the New York Yankees two nights ago. This opens up a four game series against the club where they hope to not get swept again.

The Whites sox were looking to stop their skid after facing series losses against Boston, New York and Cleveland. However, Baltimore had a different idea in mind. Miguel Gonzalez pitched against the Sox allowing only one run in 7 innings. Baltimore received solo home runs from Adam Jones, J.J. Hardy and Brian Roberts, two in the 5th inning – pushing Baltimore over the White Sox 3-1. "It's definitely a good way to start the homestand," Hardy said. "Our backs are kind of against the wall and we need to win. We need to get on a streak, and this is a good start."

Gonzalez in last night’s game, gave up only 4 hits, walked one and struck out six to earn his first win in seven starts since July 20th. Gonzalez put the game out of reach in the Nike Air MVP Pro Metal Baseball Cleat. The Air MVP Pro Metal features Air cushioning in the heel. It gives Gonzalez great cushioning, allowing him to put everything he has into all his pitches.

The Orioles are looking to start a new streak so they can get a spot in the playoffs. Stay tuned to Sneaker Report as the race to October continues.
