Runners: if speed is your thing, make sure to check out the Asics Gel DS Racer 10 when it hits retailers in early 2014.
The Gel DS Racer series has remained virtually unchanged for the past few years, but this time around, Asics has given the shoe a revamped design that is both easy on the eyes and is built for speed.
Along with an updated upper, Asics has given the Gel DS Racer 10 an all-new platform that is lightweight yet offers ample support—after all, the DS Racer is one of the most popular support racing shoes on the market.
The shoe features Asics’ F.A.S.T. technology, which consists of a reduced heel-to-toe offset for a more natural stride. At 6.3 ounces, the DS Racer 10 also comes with a reduced weight. The shoe also features a nearly seamless upper with welded overlays for the best in comfort and support.
The Asics DS Racer 10 is scheduled for a January 2014 release. The shoe is expected to be priced at $110.
