First it was the Energy Boost, then the adiStar Boost. Now, the adios Boost is the latest high-profile running shoe to take on adidas’ innovative midsole technology.

The Sneaker Report crew has awaited the arrival of the adios Boost all year long, and now that it’s finally here, you can bet that we’re excited. While the adidas adios series was quite impressive just the way it was, adidas’ decision to update it with its high energy return Boost midsole certainly takes the shoe to an entirely new level.

Weighing in at 7.8 ounces, the adios Boost is lightweight, but manages to offer proper support for longer runs. The shoe features a clover-shaped Coolever mesh upper for temperature regulation, and features synthetic overlays for structural integrity.

The adios Boost is loaded with an extended Torsion System for midfoot support, as well as an EVA soclkiner for a custom fit. The shoe’s Boost midsole is lightweight and fast, and offers more energy rebound than traditional foam midsoles.

Lastly, the shoe features a Quickstrike outsole for speed and flexibility, and is integrated with Continental rubber for sure-footed grip during wet conditions.

$150
