Usain Bolt's dominance of the 2013 World Championships in Moscow continued this afternoon as Jamaica took home the gold in the 4x100M relay. The team of Bolt, Nesta Carter, Nickel Ashmeade, and Kemar Bailey-Cole finished with a time of 37.36 seconds, while the US picked up the silver in 37.66 and Canada won the bronze on a technicality with a finish of 37.92 seconds.
For Bolt, he's further added to his place into history with his second triple-win of the world championship sprint events. Now, Bolt's got eight gold and two silver world championship medals to his name, which puts him ahead of the oft-compared Carl Lewis, who had eight golds, one silver, and a bronze.
Meanwhile, Jamaica's women had reason for celebration as well. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce mimicked Bolt's medals with a win in the 100M, 200M, and finally helping Jamaica capture the gold in the 4X100M relay. Fraser-Pryce became the first woman to win all three events in the championship's 30-year history.
Bolt stuck with his custom Puma track spikes, which unfortunately aren't currently available from the brand. However, the Bolt evoSpeed Sprint LTD is a comparable alternative and is available now for $140.
