The PGA Championships will kick off today at the Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY. Returning, 2012 Champion, Rory Mcllroy intends on keeping the trophy for another year put there is one person in his way of winning back to back is Tiger Woods. Tiger is coming off a seven-shot win at the Bridgestone Invitational and looks to be the favorite to take it all. This PGA win will net him his 15th Major in his career and he seems poised to take it all.
Woods maintained his lead with a little help from the Nike VR_S Covert Tour driver. Tiger has been on his A-game since putting it into play at The Open Championship just two weeks ago. Woods also wore the TW ’14 as he took the invitational. The Nike TW ’14 was a definite improvement from the last model. The shoe aesthetically seems more athletic but it didn’t sacrifice function for look as it is a quality shoe to hold down the fairway.
