We are already into the first week of college football as teams take the stage tonight. Teams so far this year have been unveiling new uniforms and equipment they will be wearing this season or for their opening game. Not to be left behind, the South Carolina Gamecocks will sporting new Under Armour uniforms starting with tonight’s game against their border-rival North Carolina.
For the game, which kick-offs at 6:00pm EST, the Gamecocks went with an all-garnet look. The garnet in the shoulder pads and pants are both broken by parallel black and white stripes. The Logo is featured on the outer shoulder and the jersey reads “Carolina” on the chest, above the numbers. A white helmet breaks up the look, giving the uniform some contrast. On foot, the team will rocking the Men’s UA Nitro Icon Low MC Football Cleat.
The Nitro Icon delivers mobility by eliminating the extra bulk. The upper is made with a combination of nubuck and an engineered synthetic giving you lockdown and a comfortable fit. This is a great light weight cleat that is designed for superior traction on synthetic surfaces.
