The best—and the worst—thing about being a sneakerhead in 2013 is that everything is just so damn convenient. You can buy, receive, wear, and show off sneakers all without ever leaving the comfort of your own home. This is incredibly convenient. It is also incredibly scary. Because what used to be a social experience has become a social media experience, which isn't the same thing at all. So what we want you to do is this: turn off the computer, silence the Google Alerts—heck, turn off your phone—and go outside. Check out 10 Reasons Sneakerheads Need to Get Out More if you need more convincing.
