With the 2013 NFL Hall of Fame Game and the first weekend of preseason action in the books, week one of the preseason is officially underway. Last night, a whopping fourteen games took place, and Sneaker Report's got a run down of the action in case you missed it. In a night where entire rosters got a chance to take the field, several quarterbacks stepped up to power their teams.

The defending champion Baltimore Ravens blew out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 44-16, led mostly in part by 154 passing yards from Tyrod Taylor. In other one-sided wins, the Dolphins dropped the Jags 27-3, the Cardinals blew out the Packers 17-0, and the Bengals stomped out the Falcons 34-10.

The rest of the night's action was more closely contested, including a Raiders win over the Cowboys in a neck-and-neck 19-17 W. Other results on the night included the Panthers 24-17 win over the Bears, the Saints toppling the Chiefs 17-13, the Texans downing the Vikings 27-13, the Patriots edging out the Eagles 31-22, the Lions beating the Jets 26-17, a 31-10 Seahawks win over the Chargers, the Broncos rushing the 49ers 10-6, the Redskins squeaking by with a 21-22 win over the Titans, and finally a 27-10 Browns victory over the Bears.

Some of the night's top performers included veteran QBs Tom Brady and Michael Vick, who went head to head in the Eagles-Pats matchup. Brady impressed with 65 yards on 7/8 passing, while Vick went 4/5 with 94 yards. Vick chose to lace up the Nike Superbad Strike D, which offers high levels cushioning and support for $65. Meanwhile, Brady went with an Under Armour model which isn't currently available. Whether it's an upcoming release or a Brady-exclusive remains to be seen.

Another QB who had a big night was Houston's T.J. Yates. On 13/21 passing, Yates racked up 151 yards, connecting with Deandre Hopkins for a TD along the way. Texans coach Gary Kubiak spoke on his performance: "It's very early, but he has had probably as good a camp as it can get for any young player, and it carried over tonight. It's good to see that as he gets more comfortable with what we're doing, the more plays he is going to make." It sounds like Yates has a big future ahead of him. Last night, he wore the Nike Alpha Pro Low TD, which as been a favorite amongst pros thus far in the presason. Try them out today for $75.
