Under Armour is set to launch a new trainer this week with the help of Foot Locker. The Under Armour Micro G Gridiron Trainer is inspired by the fast paced playmakers of the NFL, such as UA athletes Arian Foster and Julio Jones. The design of the UA Gridiron Trainer also gives a nod to Cam Newton's signature Under Armour footwear. The lightweight design uses a combination of synthetics and neoprene throuhgout the upper, while perforations throughout the toebox and tongue keep it breathable. Reinforced anle and toe areas will help with durability, while the midfoot strap adds some extra lockdown and a little bit aesthetics to the Gridiron Trainer's design. A turf-ready outsole design provides traction, while using a similar "fingered" outsole design to the CN1, and TPU arch system, further enhances performance. The Under Armour Micro G Gridiron Trainer will be available at Foot Locker both online and in-store on July 17th.
