Zero drop and trail running are two things Puma generally doesn’t dabble in. But all that is about to change with the introduction of the Faas 100 TR.

Set to debut next month, the Puma Faas 100 TR is engineered to keep you on your feet whether you’re going uphill or downhill. The shoe features a rather lightweight construction at around 6.4 ounces, though it does have all the makings of a high performance trail shoe thanks to a more resilient Faas Foam+ midsole that helps stabilize the feet across uneven terrain. The shoe features a high-grade rubber outsole lined with a saw-toothed pattern for flexibility and reliable grip. Along with the zero drop differential, the Faas 100 TR features a minimalist-friendly upper designed to keep debris out and allow the feet to breathe. Despite its sleek frame and aggressive sole, the shoe does seem to be lack protection against debris—something runners definitely look for in an off-roading. Though, it should hold up fine against mild-to-moderate terrain.
