It's always nice to see cool shops do collaborations with brands that are outside of the spectrum of the corporate sneaker world. It also proves that a dope sneaker is a dope sneaker, and if you put the right people in charge of designing something, something great always come out of it.
Berlin's Overkill has collaborated with KangaROOS on a pair of blue suede Coil R-1s that are set to release on August 24. The sneakers feature a mostly-blue upper with a turquoise hit for the branding and a white midsole. It's a simple approach to an old school runner, and it always seems to work.
Expect more information concerning availability and price to come closer to release date.
