Before May 31's win over the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees were on an uncharacteristic five game losing streak. But that all changed as they marched to a 4-1 victory Friday night, led by an outstanding night on the mound from CC Sabathia. The pitcher tied his personal season high with ten strikeouts on the night, allowing only six hits in 7 1/3 innings.
Sabathia is known for his rotation of Jordan Brand cleats, but during Friday night's game he broke out an especially unique pair. The six-time All Star wore what appears to be a cleated pair of the Air Jordan Trunner Dominate Pro. Sabathia's cleated PE version most likely won't be hitting retailers anytime soon, but the standard Trunner Dominate Pro is a great choice for athletes looking to stay in shape during the off-season at $125.
