If you like performance watches as much as we do, then you’re in for a real treat this year. Following up the success of its Ambit watch, Suunto has released an upgraded of the do-it-all watch, the Ambit2.

Featuring updates like a redesigned strap and a sleeker face, the Ambit2 integrates its outdoor capabilities with sport-inspired functions to produce one of the hottest performance watches available today. The GPS-enabled watch calculates speed, pace, distance, as well as heart rate (with HR option) and calories—all in real time to help athletes get instant access to their training results. Designed for multisport use, the Ambit2 caters to a variety of athletes, including (but not limited to by any means) runners, cyclists, and swimmers.

In the pool, the Ambit2 keeps tabs on swimming pace and distance, stroke rate, and lap count. On land, the watch features lap comparisons by mile, as well as running cadence with Foot POD.

The Ambit2 can be linked up to 1000+ free Sunnto Apps for training and adventure. The watch is available in a variety of options (including the Ambit2 S model seen above), ranging in price from $400-$650. Check out the collection at Suunto.
