It’s never too early to plan ahead, just ask Nike, who is already back at work creating the next edition to its ever-so-popular Air Max series—yup, were referring to the Air Max+ 2014.

While there hasn’t been much information released about the Air Max ’14 just yet, we do have some initial images that can shed some light on what the shoe will entail in terms of performance and design. As expected, the shoe will still keep the full-length Air outsole seen on the Air Max+ 2013, but the most noticeable change comes in the upper—where Flywire seems to be missing (at least on the surface). The shoe is Plus-enabled for performance tracking, and features deep flex grooves on the forefoot for flexibility.

A lot more to come on the Air Max+ 2014. Stay tuned.
