David Beckham has announced that he will retire from soccer at the end of the season.

After winning over 100 caps for England, as well as culminating countless trophies in two different continents, Mr. Beckham has become an international face of the sport in some amazing cleats.

Currently playing his final season for Paris St.-Germain, he boasts the French league championship under his belt, not to mention titles for Manchester United, Real Madrid and the Los Angeles Galaxy.

“If you had told me as a young boy I would have played for and won trophies with my boyhood club Manchester United, proudly captained and played for my country over one hundred times and lined up for some of the biggest clubs in the world, I would have told you it was a fantasy,” Beckham said.
