The four-point play is a rarity in the NBA. It's only possible when a player gets fouled while shooting a three-pointer, makes the three, and then converts from the line as well. It's even less common for two players on the same team to pull it off in the same game. Well, on March 8, 1994, Scottie Pippen and Bulls teammate Pete Myers did just that. To make the feat even more impressive, both four-point plays occurred in the fourth quarter of Chicago's 116-95 win over the Atlanta Hawks. In Michael Jordan's absence, Scottie Pippen had a game-high 39 points.
In 1994, Pippen was wearing the Nike Air Maestro, a classic model which basketball fans are hoping to see re-released in the near future. The Huarache-like upper construction gave a snug fit on courts, while encapsulated Air units provided cushion. 2012 saw the release of the Nike Air Maestro Flight, which was updated with performance tech but didn't seem as popular with players as the original Maestro. As far as a retro goes, all we can say is Just Do It, Nike!
