The two highest-ranked teams in the Western Conference went head to head earlier tonight, as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder with a score of 105-93. San Antonio's experienced roster proved to be too much for the younger Thunder team, who remain at the slot number two in the west.

The Spurs were led by center Tiago Splitter, who had 21 points with nearly perfect 9-for-11 shooting. The foreign player added another ten rebounds and three assists to help San Antonio rally to their 49th win of the season. Meanwhile, Kawhi Leonard had 17 points and Tim Duncan chipped in another 13.

The dominant big man wore the Nike Hyperdunk 2011, which has been his sneaker of choice lately. Although the Hyperdunk 2012 added Lunar cushioning and exposed Flywire, it seems that Tiago Splitter prefers the previous version. With supportive yet lightweight uppers, the Hyperdunk line has been popular with players of all sizes.
