The Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to take their second straight trip to the NBA Finals this year, and last night's win over the Lakers served as another step towards their goal. Finishing the game with a commanding 122-105 lead, the Thunder are now 27-4 in home games. It was All-Star Russell Westbrook who had the best performance of the game, but a fantastic team effort from OKC led them to Wednesday's win, as they tied an NBA record with only two turnovers for the entire game.
Kevin Durant had a big game, putting up 26 points and grabbing 9 rebounds, but he struggled with his shooting, going just 9 for 22 from the field. It was Russell Westbrook, the charismatic guard who's known for his wacky outfits just as much as his stellar play, who had a game-high 37 points, adding another 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Thanks to Wednesday's victory, the Thunder are now positioned at second-best in their conference, trailing just behind the San Antonio Spurs.
So far this season, Russell Westbrook has been spotted in some downright awesome Jordan Brand player exclusives. For the Lakers game, he broke out a "Home" colorway of the Air Jordan Aero Flight PE, a model which he's previously worn in an "Away" makeup. The Aero Flight's durable synthetic upper is enhanced with Flywire for support and stability, while a Zoom Air forefoot unit provides impact protection and responsiveness. If you're a quick guard who wants to play in the same sneakers as one of the NBA's greatest, check out the Air Jordan Aero Flight, which now is on sale for $80.
