The Cincinnati Bearcats haven’t been the hottest team going into the ongoing Big East Tournament, but in their second round matchup today against Providence, the ‘Cats showed just how dangerous they can be for opponents.

Led by senior guard JaQuon Parker, Cincinnati took care of Providence 61-44 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Parker, who surpassed his season average in both points and rebounds on Wednesday, was a big reason for Cincy’s success.

Wearing a pair of adidas Top Ten 2000s, Parker dropped a double-double (15 pts, 10 boards), against a timid Providence defense, as the Bearcats jumped out to a fast start, and never relinquished their early lead.

The team wore their special March Madness edition adidas Camo Print uniforms, along with a variety of adidas footwear. Many of Parker’s teammates, including Shaquille Thomas and Cashmere Wright, even laced up in the all-new CrazyQuicks, the latest basketball shoe from the Three Stripes.

Next up for Cincinnati is a quarterfinal showdown against top-seed Georgetown.
