With so much going on in mainstream sports like basketball, soccer, and football, we haven’t had much of a chance to talk about lacrosse here on Sneaker Report. So it’s time to change that. After all, in case you haven’t taken notice, the sport has been steadily growing in popularity all across the country, particularly on the high school and collegiate levels.
Today we take a moment to look at some lacrosse-specific footwear to be worn by the University of Denver Pioneers.
Ranked No. 3 in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Medial Poll, the Pioneers will have two footwear options to choose from the season, the Warrior Burn 6.0 Speed, and the Burn 6.0 Speed Low. Both models feature a similar Rocky Mountain design that pays tribute to Denver and its surrounding landscape. The cleats feature a ventilated synthetic upper for breathability, along with a 14-pin stud configuration on the outsole for traction and speed.
Denver will rock the Black/Gold colorway on the road, and the Red/Gold for home games
