Florida Gulf Coast University has undoubtedly been the Cinderella story in this year’s 2013 NCAA Tournament, and for good reason. But let’s not forget there’s another Sweet Sixteen contender that is hoping to continue busting brackets while people continue to count them out. Yes, we’re talking about La Salle.
No. 13 seed La Salle will take on ninth seeded Wichita State tonight, hoping to secure a coveted spot in the Elite Eight round. As the team’s done through out the regular season and the NCAA tourney, the Explorers will rock Under Armour footwear, like the Micro G Torch model shown above, as they hold it down for the Atlantic 10 conference. La Salle is the only Under Armour-sponsored team remaining in the tournament, so they’ll be holding it down for UA the rest of the way too.
Tip-off for tonight’s game is set for 10:17 pm EST.
