It was revealed earlier this week that Michael Jordan would take Kobe Bryant over LeBron James at this point in their careers. Not like he hasn't said this before, but to hear it now, considering how dominant LBJ has been, shook up the basketball community—a little bit. What everyone isn't mentioning is that MJ fiercely said that while the everyone debates over Kobe or Bron-Bron, Kevin Durant is about to sneak through the back door to supremacy. Kobe even often acknowledges that Durant is his toughest challenge with his length and scoring know-how.

Last night, the Miami Heat controlled the flow in their game against Oklahoma and won the road game 110-100. After going 2-10 in the first half for 14 points, Durant finished the game with 40 points (the sixth time he's scored 40+ this season). A frustrating loss when you consider that this may be another finals preview, but KD, once again, proved that even if he is "not nice," his game can't be described as anything but. Playing in the Nike Zoom KD V "Aunt Pearl's," Durant paid homage to Kay Yow and the fight against cancer (which is obviously nice, ironically) and gets it done on the court with the Max Air and Nike Zoom Unit combined to protect his landings.
