Twenty-six-year-old track and field sensation Galen Rupp has just set the US indoor record for 3,000 meters, clocking in at 07:30:16. The Oregon alum competed in the XL-Galan meet in Stockholm, representing his Nike sponsorship.

Rupp's already proved his skills by taking home the 2012 Olympic silver medal in the 10,000 meter race. His time was not only good enough to set a new American record, but it's also the best time for 3,000 meters in the world so far in 2013. His weapon of choice appears to be a version of the Nike Zoom Victory, which he's also been spotted racing in prior to the London Games. If you feel like breaking your own record, pick up a pair from Nike here.
