The guard position may be one of the least desirable in the NFL Draft (the numbers don't lie—the last time a guard was drafted in the top ten picks was Chris Naeole in 1997). But Chance Warmack from the University of Alabama is looking to shatter that perception this year. With a laundry list of collegiate accomplishments, Warmack headed into his senior year by being named part of Sports Illustrated's preseason All-American squad.

Now the lineman faces what may be his biggest evaluation yet: the NFL Scouting Combine. The 320-pound big man only competed in two of the seven major drill competitions, the 40-yard-dash and the broad jump. He posted a time of 5.49 seconds on the dash and 110 inches on the broad jump. NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah noted that Warmack "didn't enjoy a stellar workout" and that he displayed "underwhelming athleticism." However, he predicts that the showing won't drop the Alabama alum too far down the Draft list.

Earlier, Sneaker Report gave you a preview of the Under Armour footwear and gear that players are wearing at the Combine. Warmack broke out a sleeveless version of the Combine Authentic Fitted Shortsleeve and a pair of UA Renegade Cleats. The shirt can be picked up today from UA for $40, but you'll have to stick with Sneaker Report for more details on the Renegade Cleats, as they are set for a Fall 2013 release.
