Everyone knows the Air Jordan 11, right? Instantly recognizable for its trademark patent leather overlays, tough ballistic mesh, and translucent outsole, the model has become a mainstay on basketball courts. But unless you've kept a close eye on the baseball diamond in recent years, you may have missed this cleated variation.

CC Sabathia, pitcher for the New York Yankees and Jordan Brand-sponsored athlete, has clearly taken a liking to the Air Jordan 11 as well. He's been spotted in this "Concord" colorway regularly since 2009, so it comes as no surprise that he broke them out this week for spring training. With their flexible and easy-to-clean patent leather uppers, it's understandable why these work for Sabathia both during practice and on the mound. Unfortunately, the cleated version hasn't been released to the public, but you can expect the standard basketball version of the AJ11 to drop this holiday season.
