Bruce Kilgore's de-Swooshed Jordan II design is one of those iconoclast moments that will always polarise Jordan heads. Its minimal design aesthetic and jacked stance are still an oddball sight 25 years later, and the fact it was 'Made in Italy' only adds to the intrigue. It's also one of Nike's most anonymous shoe designs, which is quite a feat. However, whilst the II might be a personal (and mostly secret) pleasure, if you really want the greatest of all time, then you have to hand it to the 1s. It's the OG. Forget the IIIs and the IVs. No other ball shoe commands such presence. Red plus black plus white will always add up to snap.
