The Knicks have been a totally different team this season in comparison to former squads. They’ve been one of the best teams in the league, Carmelo Anthony has become the leader they’ve always needed and the NYK are a legit title contender. The rich got richer yesterday when they’re defensive stopper, Iman Shumpert made his season debut for the Blue and Orange.

Forget the fact that he only scored eight points and that it was against the Pistons and that it was in London because the NBA (David Stern) just won’t let that European dream go. The return of shump, wearing the adidas Top Ten 2000, a sort of remix of the Crazy 8’s, equipped with the herringbone traction patters on the sole, light-weight EVA midsole for support and landings, and an upper which features a support strap specific to the model, means the Knicks have only gotten stronger. The post-season is still months away, but New York fans have to feel good seeing him back in the lineup. Kid-N-Play hairstyle and all.
