Just because you had the sweater game on lock back in the mid-'90s (word to Biggie Smalls) doesn't make you an expert in all things fashion. Coogi's line of sneakers seems to hit the ultimate clearance racks, maybe that's because they named these joints after what sounds like an awful injury. Avoid the Coogified Strap.

When Steve Jobs was out, Apple stepped up and laced their employees with sneakers to hit the gym in. Thankfully Jobs came back and refocused the company's direction and we all ended up with iPhones and iPods instead of these bad boys. Heck, even Jobs himself wore New Balance.

Lugz may have pulled off a couple of boot styles for the budget-minded individual, but they threw that out the window when they jumped into the sneaker arena. They're an obvious fish out of water, taking style from everyone else in the game. You have to tip your cap to the number of celebrity endorsers they've been able to line up, and then follow it by scratching your head in disbelief.

Yes, this is a real brand. It's pronounced Fake-ee. And it was a bad idea from the very start.

Royal Elastics made a few decent kicks along the way, but most of them were destined for the discount store right from the start. Not to mention, Andy Warhol sneakers were never a good idea, even if the iconic banana did look something like a Swoosh.

When your brand becomes a part of a rap song, you know you've made it. But when Rick Ross shouts out your brand for its ugliness and then goes so far as to make it part of the chorus, you've done the opposite of made it.

It's surprising enough that people bought Bape, the true original fake, but when you started seeing A-Towns all over your friend's Myspace page, sh*t had gone too far. Nike probably could have gone after a number of companies that used the Air Force 1 as "creative inspiration" but we lost count at A.

Soulja Boy probably made a killing on his partnership with Yums but really, nobody wants to hop up out of bed, turn their swag on, and put on some Yums. Least not anyone we know.

Jordache may have been the denim brand in the '80s but sneakers? Pass. Everything they came out with had those of us shopping at the discount store trying to look as fresh as the kids in school with the money. Yeah, not happening.

A few years ago Van Grack, a name affiliated with unnamed people that tried to lure MJ away from Nike, made a comeback. Or rather, they came back to a handful of retailers and didn't sell. Imagine MJ in a pair of these? On second thought, maybe you shouldn't.
