The Saucony Kilkenney has been one of the most popular cross country sneakers over the past few years, and in 2013, the lightweight shoe will be back for it’s 5th edition, and quite possibly the best one yet.
Next summer, runners will be able to get their hands on the Kilkenney XC5 in both a spiked (for cross country) and spikeless version (for training). With a weight around 5.6 ounces for the spikeless model, the XC5 apparently weights 0.4 ounces lighter than the previous edition. Aside from a more streamlined upper for a custom fit, and brighter colorways, the rest of the XC5 remains the same.
The sneakers will range from $55-$60. Look out for a July 2013 drop at Saucony.
