Despite a monster performance from an under-the-weather Kobe Bryant (40 points, 10 boards), the Los Angeles Lakers lost yet another game last night—this one against the Indiana Pacers, 79-77.

Pacers’ stud Paul George stole the show with a game-winning shot as time expired, but for what it’s worth, “The Black Mamba’s” Nike Zoom Kobe VII weren’t too shabby either—after all, they helped Kobe score more than half of his team’s points. The Flywire-constructed shoes got an ailing Bryant through the 44 tough minutes he logged in Tuesday night. We’re excited to see what he does in the Zoom Kobe VIIIs. Hopefully that’s sooner than later.
