We all have certain things that complete our personal style. For Kevin Durant, you’ll find those things in his beloved backpack.

Throughout his entire life, KD has been known to have a special attachment to his backpack. So Nike decided, what else, but to give the NBA superstar his own branded pack. The KD Hoops Elite Ball Backpack is a lightweight bag designed with both style and functionality in mind. It’s made from tough water-resistant nylon so weather isn’t a factor, and even features an external insulated pocket to keep that Gatorade nice and cool. The bag is large enough to fit even a fully inflated basketball, along with whatever else you take to the court with you.

So what does KD carries inside his backpack? Well its quite simple:

“Those who know me know I like to keep it simple,” Durant said. “I carry three key things in my backpack – my headphones, bible and chargers. Sometimes my shoes, socks, ball, iPad and water are also along for the ride.”

Well there you have it. KD has his very own backpack—one we will likely be seeing a lot of moving forward. The global launch for the KD Hoops Elite Backpack is set for December 2012, with additional colorways to release next spring. Available at Nike.
