Nicknamed the “Michigan Avenue” colorway, the latest adidas Rose 3 colorway is inspired by the lights and iconic characters that populate the avenue in Derrick’s hometown of Chicago during the holiday season. Bright Yellow fills the vertical Three Stripes that run up the heel, which has become a staple of the Rose signature shoes. A bright blue toebox made up of nubuck material, is wrapped in white around the toe and speckled, which is also a feature of the midsole that pays tribute to the lights of Michigan Avenue, and its Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. Behind the tongue, stars and a half-moon to represent D Rose’s “Poohdini” tattoo, which is encircled by the satellite coordinates of Michigan Avenue. The Michigan Avenue D Rose 3 drops on November 15th, just in time for you to wear them to the festival, which begins on November 17th.
