Kevin Durant is undoubtedly the future of the NBA. In just a few short years he's led the Oklahoma City Thunder from the lower echelons of the league to competing for the NBA Title. His signature sneakers from Nike Basketball have followed the same path, straight to the top as one of the most popular basketball shoes on the market. Today, Nike launches the fifth version of the Durant line, the Nike KD V. The KD V takes a new design turn in the series with the addition of Max Air cushioning in the heel for better impact protection. The forefoot area has been improved with a larger 10mm Zoom Air cushioning unit for better responsiveness. A low-profile outsole keeps the weight of the KD V to a minimum, while design elements pay tribute to Kevin Durant's family and path to success.
