Charles Barkley signed with Nike at the same time as draft classmate Michael Jordan, but it took them a bit longer to put him in a signature shoe. Once they did, though—after he spent a few years literally anchoring the Force line—they made up for lost time. Barkley's signature line was the spiritual predecessor to LeBron's—shoes designed for a heavyweight who moved like a featherweight—and the straitjacket-inspired Air Max2 CB may just be the most appropriately inspired signature shoe of all time.
