6. adidas The KOBE I "Sunshine"

Designed in conjunction with Audi, The KOBE represented a whole new direction for adidas and sneaker design in general. Plenty of sneakers were inspired by cars, not many shared actual designers. The synthetic upper had something of a Foamposite feel in the way it molded to the foot, and the "Sunshine" version that was cooked up for the All-Star Game popped like no other.
