A nip here and a tuck there and the end result is the AJ V.1 Chukka. Jordan Brand decided to go Frankenstein on the Air Jordan I and strip it down to a cleaner, more seamless silhouette. The shoe starts off as a normal V.1 with a neatly shaped Vulcanized sole. The upper receives an overhaul with a near one-piece design. Perforations outline the Swoosh and leather is used as a lace tab as well as a heel guard. The concoction is held together with thin rope laces. Available in either khaki or black, these should be hitting shelves sometime in October for a reasonable $95.
