Massachusetts-based shop Concepts has joined forces with New Balance on an ultra-detailed iteration of the 999. The "S.E.A.L." makeup was appropriately inspired by the OTB Abyss II boot, frequently worn by U.S. Navy S.E.A.Ls. The NB digs highlight stain-resistant microfiber suede on the upper, paired with additional hits of ballistic mesh, all equating to a water and wind-resistant drop. Morse code branding has then been placed atop the tongue to only further enhance the truly unique design aspects of the collaborative release. Look for availability to begin on August 4 at 10am EST in-store at Concepts and then online at 12am EST. Retail is $150.
