Nike basketball has officially unveiled the Nike Zoom Kobe VII System Supreme, continuing the innovation that Nike technology is known for providing their athletes. The shoe is based off of two types of players — athletes that attack fast or attack strong.

The "attack fast" aspect is for players whose game is based off of speed with more of a slasher, drive to the basket game — thus introducing the insert that features a Phylon midsole, equipped with Nike Zoom units in the forefoot. The insert hugs the foot, eliminates the tongue, and allows for a lightweight feel.

For the big men that bang in the paint and feel the need for more ankle support when grabbing rebounds, the "attack strong" aspect is geared more towards them. It offers a full-length Cushlon midsole and an ankle cuff for comfort and support.

Nike Kobe VII System Supreme will be sold for $180 and comes with two midsoles and sleeve heights. The Attack Fast midsole contains Zoom Air in the forefoot and heel.  The Attack Strong midsole is Cushlon and contains no air.

Nike Zoom Kobe VII System will be available for $140 and contains the Attack Fast version with a single midsole with Zoom Air in the forefoot and heel. Both pairs will be available on December 22nd. [via Nike Inc]
