With rumors continuing to spread of Nike SB's plan to begin retroing some of its more iconic releases, we just may see the first option with the Dunk Low "Loden." Originally released in 2002, the similiarites between the two are undeniable. The division has yet to officially disclose whether the forthcoming release is an ode to the original, but we expect to hear either way, sooner rather than later. But for now, what do you think? I think this is a horrible idea. For me, collecting is more about prestige and actually TRYING to get a hard-to-find dunk and rocking it, breaking necks in the process. I think a real sneakerhead would wanna find the OG dunk instead of going into your local skate shop and picking it up as a GR. I have a genuine love for sneakers and I really don't wanna see this happen, although if it did, the world won't end. It might even be a pretty cool idea to retro Nike Sb's, just like Jordan franchise does theirs.

This is probably the WORST idea of all time. Like SwagOnDeck says, I collect SBs to get the ones I like AND have a bit of a challenge. I myself have Lodens from '02 and this shit would KILL THE GAME more than it already is... Just my 2 cents.
